Does what it says...flip up hinged lever will get dodgy in cold temps I bet and you should be careful not to use that to apply a lot of torque. But for a 'get you home' fix this tool will do the job.-- UPDATE --I was right...applying even a moderate amount of torque when attaching my bindings today the tightening ratchet setting mechanism has failed. Moreover the locked setting no longer works either. Do NOT purchase this tool. It's clearly marked as 'Made in China' and has a logo but nothing that clearly marks it as Burton made which is surprising as their gear is normally bulletproof so I'm wondering if this is a cheap knock-off.Dialogue opened up with supplier about replacement.
